8/13/2023 0 Comments Twin falls waterfall arkansas![]() I've been to this area 3 times now and there's plenty to visit in this area including the Sandstone Castles, Richland Falls, Falling Water Falls, Six Finger Falls, Fuzzy Butt Falls, and the list goes on and on. Continue west following Long Devils Fork for a short distance and you'll find Twin Falls. The next creek crossing is Richland Creek (you'll get wet again). At this point Richland Creek continues upstream and is to your left and intersects Long Devils Fork Creek to your right. It's easier to see in the winter or early spring. There's no rock hopping across this creek. Keep Richland Creek to your right (stay on the left side) and you'll find the trail. Directly above a small camping area on top of Twin Falls there begins a more primitive trail up the center on the ridge that will take you straight to the enormous bluffs and 2 large caves that make a solid campsite for anywhere from 1-10 people. So let others know where you are in case bad things happen. From the Richland Creek campground, Twin Falls is an approximate 3 mile hike followed by another mile (give or take) to the 'Castles'. Hemmed-In-Hollow Falls, at 209 feet (64 m) the tallest waterfall between. One slip on the steep canyon walls could create an emergency situation quickly. Harrison is a city in and the county seat of Boone County, Arkansas, United States. It's slippery when wet and slipper when dry. It's not quite a bushwhack, but it's still a pretty tough hike. There's a trace trail that begins from the lowest walk-in campsites and continues along Richland Creek as you head back towards the waterfall. Water Lantern Festival is coming up soon. It really is worth the national exposure.
